has 1 has some advice for fly fishing?
I am a beginner looking for tips to fish in the NR LAGOS Lench Evesham and Ive never FLYED OBJECTIVE
Thanks for the additional information (though still not much to go, ha ha). If I could give you advice and only advice would be: you can not learn everything at once, but if you are patient, soon enough to catch fish. Learning to fly fishing has a greater investment of time and effort, by example, learning to fish with a worm, so I do not feel frustrated at the beginning and quit. Fly fishing is very rewarding (much more than "bait and wait" approach), but be willing to put in some time to learn. Of course, I'm not limited to a single point, so here are a little more … Obviously, you need a fishing rod. Get a rod and reel somewhere in the neighborhood of 3 to 6 weight (8 feet or less, if possible), and the video of a beginner, then start learning to cast. Casting is one of the fundamental skills of fly fishing, and if you can not, will not catch fish and have not been fun. Foundry Start on earth – in a flat yard with grass short, for example. Once you have the basics, you can go to the lake and practice more. Fly fishing gear can be a bit pricey, but if you look for bargains, you find them. There are plenty of good videos on YouTube that will help you start casting, but also you can get real DVD (library? video store?) The form of distribution, too. For me it was a matter of watching and learning – I just see other people until I started to pick it up. The next thing you can do is familiarize yourself with the front – the various parts of their gear and different line types. You will find that is a little different that baitfishing Spincasting or arts. The drums, lines, lures, knots – are all very different and will have to be familiar with. A book and / or video help, too, but here is a website that my children have enjoyed: http://www.hooked-on-flies.com/ After that, it's a separate issue as to put on your line and where to fish. Ask the locals. Ask your local sporting goods stores, bait shops, etc. and ask people who see fish (especially fly fishers of others). Most people will be happy to share tips with you. Let me add here that today can take lessons from flies fishing for a variety of groups – fly fishing clubs, fishing shops, and even universities. How these classes can be really good to start the tasks of fly fishing knowledge. I know a guy who took a 3 day class and what I might say that took him from knowing almost nothing of being very competent. I hope that helps a little.
