The entry level Fly Fishing Rod / Reel Combo?
I do not want to spend more than $ 200, and I need to be a piece of 2 by at least a 4-piece if possible. I intend to Smallie fishing, large mouth, and possibly some small pike and carp. I'm not sure if that will affect whether or not I use WF or DT support, and to be honest, I'm a little confused as to what is the difference. Thanks, Matt.
low rod scientific angler comes with three fly under and line. 4-piece rod and extremely reliable, $ 80 at Wally world and a large combo. I do not agree with MG, the stick is sturdy and reliable as long as you do not has a character and cast into the river cane.

Fly Fishing. . . What kind of Rod / Tackle Should I be looking for a beginner?
I fish quite often, but have never gone before fly fishing. When I went for a scenic drive one weekend I noticed tons of people fly fishing on the river side. He seemed to be trying to salmon fishing. It seemed a lot of fun. So I wanted to give a chance. Since I've never been fly fishing before I wondered what type of rod should look and what type of front would be involved. Second. . Are there bars fly fishing for kids? My son loves to fish. I live in Columbia British. . so I'm assuming that fish would then be Salmon
Go to local store that specializes in fly fishing equipment in your area. The salmon / rainbow gear is heavier duty than a trout rod. All are fun and fairly easy to learn for the basics, but may take years to become a master in the sport. For a measuring rod for children, I suggest a fly rod for trout about 7 feet in the weight of a 6-7. For you a length of 7.8 meters and a weight of 7-9. The store staff can explain all these terms. Buy a pair of fly fishing magazines and reading. The sport is great.

I need advice on a fishing trip in the summer minnasota?
OK this summer, I might be going in a week long fishing trip in the summer of 09 and need help choosing some good spinners, top water baits or live or false if false color / type works best and is the best way to fly fish or standard and if I live bait, what kind and if you have any suggestions a rod / reel combo or any other advice please share best answer in 1-2 days or before, I Jonny will get best answer, but you can still try
I am a MN resident fisherman. This is what you need to have a decent time in MN / WI: 1. Any spinning reel half action coincides with a 6'-7 'spinning rod will be fine. Suggestions on a low-cost equipment: A. Pflueger "President" reel ($ 59) or Symetra Shimano (www.cabelas.com 0n sale for $ 59) coincides with a one-piece, medium action Ugly Stik Lite ($ 40) or Shimano Convergence ($ 40) rod. Be sure to use for or Protective Berkley (4 / 10 "smoke" color) power lines. You can pick up a variety of fish This team, including: Walleye, Northern Pike, Bass, Bluegill, crappie, suckers, trout and lake trout. (However, this team will not perform well fishing for Musky, Catfish or large sturgeon. You would need much heavier, more expensive clothes.) Attract Good "inventory" on? 1.) JIGS-Jigs are attracting more cheaper to use in MN (and versatile!) if used with 3-4 "soft plastic worms, (Berkley Gulp brand), or bait, with a variety of different color and size of template-heads is vital. If I were you, I would buy a lot in black and pale green in sizes from 1 / 16 OZ-1 / 4 oz. (Round-ball Lite-wire hooks.) Compare the color of the template with the body color soft plastic grub. 2.) Rapala-type, hard plastic swim baits "You simply can not beat an original Rapala at certain times of day (especially bass and Walleye). Buy the "Shallow Shad Rap" and "Original Floater" in Shad / color Shiner. You can do a lot of fishing with only these two types of baits! Other lures on display? In line weavers (Mepps), De spoons and Texas-rigged worms (Berkley Powerbait 7 "). The most natural forage in the lakes of Minnesota in the summer are Shad, polishes, Fathead / Crappie minnows, Cisco BlueGill and perch, leeches, frogs, and Crawdads. Most bait shops carry a variety of bait including shiners, suckers, Fathead & Crappie small fish, worms and Nightcrawlers and leeches. Suckers – A mainly used bait to catch bigger Northern Pike & Musky. Shiners-A medium bait used for catching Walleye, Largemouth Bass / SM Bass, Musky & Northerns. Crappie-A small minnow minnow used to catch crappie and bluegill or "Sunnys. (People in MN called more panfish, crappie different, a "Sunny"). Fathead minnow-A medium used to catch Walleye, Bass and huge crappie. Worms (or "red worms") – Regular-sized earthworms used to catch "Sunnys and crappie. Nightcrawlers-worms giant land mainly used to catch Walleye. leeches used to catch Walleye & Bass. Either use a floating platform to suspend these baits or use a template of 1 / 4 oz. teams best bait? # 1). Jig and Jig & Leech or Minnow/Shiner- This is one of the best ways to get a Walleye, Bass and Northern. # 2.) Lindy Rig with Nightcrawler designed as a towing platform, it is a "murderer" in Walleye. # 3.) General tower Float-A "platform all-purpose "to capture any more. I hope this helps: Good luck!
