What is the best rod and reel fishing for catfish?

I'm confused about what to buy … I will not make the mistake of buying a fishing rod / reel. Also, what is the best roll … spinning, etc.?

Catfishing is about the only type of fishing to do but when fishing cut bait. During the years of trial and error, I found many good combinations, but the one I'm most favored is the Abu Garcia Ambassador Red 6600CB-alert bait (clicker). Very good vibes that is durable and reliable. Also, for a beginner is an excellent reel as the settings can be adjusted to backlashing least. Rods, there are many like the Ugly Stick, but my favorite is Whuppin "the Cabela's Stick! Once more durable and reliable to handle the big pigs! I like more bars myself, but it is different with every person who goes fishing. For line I use the original 50 # Spiderwire braided and 2 / 0 circle hooks Eagleclaw Lazer. Rigging depends on where your fishing, river, lake, etc … Good luck and enjoy the change goes to a casting set. It's a whole new world of fishing.

For over one hundred years, the House of Hardy has been known as one of the worlds best manufacturers of fishing tackle. His name is synonymous with quality and excellence. They are recognized worldwide as one of the biggest names in fishing.

William Hardy and his brother John James formed the Hardy Bros association in 1873. Initially it was weapons of High quality fire but soon changed direction. Both were avid fishermen and this love became his business. Thus began the famous line from bars Hardy and reels.

The bars were made in early Greenheart, Lancewood and hickory. In 1880 bamboo was added and soon the company invented split bamboo rods. Split-cane rods were made of six segments separated by a bamboo pole. These were glued to form a hexagonal cone. The Palakona Hardy split cane rod won a gold medal at an exhibition in 1881.

Since then many types and models have split cane rod Made by Hardy. They range from the lightest of trout rods, old salmon through large reeds eighteen feet in length. In 1891 Hardy introduced their model Perfect Fly Reel is designed and patented. This reel fly very well have continued in production with minor alterations to recent times. A favorite of both fishermen and gatherers of the perfect roll model is perhaps its best known product. This excellent reel was made in all sizes, from small trout reels for fishing big salmon.

Hardy Bros invented many improvements in the design of fishing gear. Joints were made spiral lock, for salmon and trout rods to prevent loosening of joints. Stud lock joints and split end joints are also Hardy Bros. invention screw fasteners and accessories from W to ring handles and a bridge to allow free movement of line were other events.

The first ball bearing fishing reels were made by Hardy Bros. His invention of a verification mechanism within the Arbor reel was the first time. In 1911 he introduced the first large arbor reel. Hardy Bros were a true innovator in the field of fisheries to meet the highest quality.

The association became Hardy Bros into a limited company in 1911 and in 1928 became a publicly owned company. During World War II fisheries production had to take second place to manufacture bombs. Immediately after the war Hardy Bros continued to expand its production of fine fishing tackle.

Hardy Bros has won more than their share awards for excellence in recent years. A Hardy reel won the first American Kudos Award for Design Excellence. In 1984 the House of Hardy won five awards Japan's industrial design – the first Japanese company to achieve this honor.

The House of Hardy continues today to produce the best possible fishing rods, reels and tackle. His name continues to inspire anglers all over the world to own a Hardy product. Nothing more can be compared.

The entry level Fly Fishing Rod / Reel Combo?

I do not want to spend more than $ 200, and I need to be a piece of 2 by at least a 4-piece if possible. I intend to Smallie fishing, large mouth, and possibly some small pike and carp.
