
Bald eagles arrive in Squamish BC.
Again, the largest gathering of bald eagles planet underway in Squamish British Columbia just north of Vancouver BC, just 50 miles south of world class Whistler Ski Resort. Based on population estimates, up to 5% of winter bald eagles in the world it is very accessible area. Instructions: To see the eagles of possibly The best viewing area, turn west on Highway 99 in Via Garibaldi. This is turn left if coming from Vancouver, or turn right if you are coming from Whistler. Turn right again at 20 yards at the junction with the Government Road. Follow the road of government for just under a mile, and will be at the Eagle who have visited the area. There is plenty of parking on the right and an interpretive center at the dam you can get a great view of dozens of bald eagles. If you are very lucky, it may also be some labels around, and a variety of bird species. On weekends from December to mid February are often volunteers Eagle Watch program in Squamish has to offer more information and a look through telescopes more power. Other viewing areas are near Tenderfoot Hatchery big fish, the Squamish estuary, and near the spawning channels between the river and Mamquam Valley Golf & Country Club Squamish.
