How can I float flies for fly fishing?

I was trying my flies today that dry flies and then continued sinking What I do

First make sure that the flies in question are dry flies. You say you are dry flies and I am inclined to believe. Trying not to imply that we stupid or anything, but it also sounds like you are a beginner, so make sure they really are dry flies.
