Fly fishing for bass is one of the most popular types of fly fishing there. How to Fly Fish Largemouth Bass?

Fly fisherman I use very thick, glossy color line. I know that the thickness is necessary because all the weight comes from the line itself. All I'm confused with how this works is for bass. I hear people always say that the bass do not bite, if the line is thick or visible. Well, not catching them in orange thick line in contradiction with this? What attracts you use to capture a fly rod? Please I am very interested in and any information will help. For the answer first, and others who respond to think the same way, I'm not asking about component of the fly rod. I want to know about the details on the capture specifically under them. What is your best strategy for catching black bass on a fly rod?

I've been fly fishing for bass on a couple of years. I mainly fish in large lakes that have plenty of food from the subsoil, and Topwater approaches do not produce at all. The best luck I had was a # 8 woolly worm olive, fish dipped in a floating line with about 8 feet of leader / tippet. This works well, but ended the capture of about 3 per perch low. I have no experience streamer fishing patterns. What kind of leader line and combo would you use? What kind of recovery? There are a lot of weeds under water, and plenty of small perch and some fish in the area.

Dave: Try a Clouser minnow # 2 or # 4 with a pattern of black or a streamer of maribou in a dark image. Other patterns are good, like a black worm Bass or black leech pattern. As you said there are a lot of weeds generally prefers models as a Clouser with a hook up. It should control weeds better. Serpentine fish using a long strip of fast.
