Fly fishing issue!?

Hello, this weekend Im going to Wisp Resort in Maryland, planning to fish. I've heard is the fishing, normal fishing. You cannot use or barbed hooks. Can I use a regular fishing rod with dry / wet flies and barbless hook fishing? I do not want to buy a couple of fishing poles when ill probably never use them again. Thanks for responding!

Interesting question. The answer depends on many factors pair have not really revealed. You said he has heard all fly fishing is not "regular fishing (fly fishing is not regular?). Anyway, if you're saying do not allow calls from regular fishing, then there is much you can do – you have to use the fly art (may have some of hire, or can borrow something of a friend?). What I think you mean is not permitted to fish with bait, either due to proprietary standards or state regulations. If this is the case, then you should be able to use any kind of temptation that you like, let alone art, provided that the barbed hook is pressed down. Generally, in the eyes of the bodies state and private owners, a decoy is a decoy is a decoy – in the case of a fly or a Rapala. I think that is unlikely to be in a situation where you have to use the flies, but you can choose your rod and reel – it would just be … weird. But if that's what it comes down, then yes, you can use the flies wet and dry spinning gear. To use a wet fly, just a draw in the line and then use a large float ISH about 12 inches (or more) above fly. A dry fly is the intention of staying on the surface, so you do not need the cork to float the moment – the cork is there to provide foundry weight. It's a fudge, but workable. For wet flies, split shot to add some weight and cast to help the fly sink wet. If you using streamers or imitations Carpita, pull them through the water like a wounded bait. If you are using nymphs, use a small cork to detect and stop making fly drift naturally under the cork. Obviously, you should know with certainty what the situation. Call the station and find someone who can tell you in what way and what gear is permitted to use. Private, secluded area waters are typically rich in fish, so would try to be as prepared as possible so you can take a lot of Lunkers.

Good Alaskan fishing trip with my dad?

My dad always wanted me and my brothers on a fishing trip to Alaska, one of the journeys of several days where you stay in a hostel. I was wondering if anyone can guide me to a good company that makes these. You can fish with fly and regular fishing, preferably one that does both. Money is not a problem now, I'll find a trip and then order through money. Thanks for any help

Stay in Anchorage in the Kenai Peninsula, but do not fish the Kenai. I have fished twice during the "peak" season is king and as advertised. First, there are about 100 boats on a stretch 50 yards and according to DFG about 2 fish pass through their scanners, sonar fish per hour. Sure the fish are giants, but are not there in numbers. Fishes of the Russian River sockeye salmon, which is a beautiful river and fishing couldnt be easier. Kasilof River fish for kings, has much better numbers of fish the Kenai. Make sure you take a trip to Homer. This is a 2 hour journey by road and offers fishing for Greenland ridiculous. Literally, a bait fish and are pretty damn big.
