How many times have you planned a great day of fishing only to discover that somehow the fly line was trapped as it has damaged andten tried to free him. Perhaps it wraps around a sharp rock or tangled in a nearby tree. Maybe even caught on the fishing reel spool and the frame?

A problem like this can easily reduce their fishing trip. But not that if you follow some of my advice on repairing flight lines that have had their coatings grated slightly or notched at some point.

And because the new lines are so expensive at about $ 70 for a new one that makes sense to try to repair the first line.

There are two main problems which have a nucleus damaged. The first problem is the distraction and discomfort you feel when your fingers cover the damaged section when you cast. Secondly, when your line has lost its integrity can drink the water, which can cause line behave strangely generally making it sink.

Once you've done well the repair should allow the line to dry completely before using it again otherwise your work will have been wasted.

If you are using a fly line of PVC, the process is a bit more complicated and difficult because of the need to use shrink tube to cover the damaged section.

This is a kind of sleeve is the kind of pipe often has to attach a braided loop at the end of the fly line. It is also the kind of thing you can pick up at a hardware or electrical store.

When you are doing this repair the worst thing that can go wrong is the application of heat without care and damage the intact parts of its line of flight.

All you need do is apply a piece of pipe that only larger than his line.

• Cut a section of pipe that is approximately an inch longer than the damaged part of the line that need repair.
• Carefully slide the tube over the damaged area, then League section to be repaired any more than a normal light bulb tungsten.

One of the most effective lures for black bass in fresh water is called "low error" used with a fly rod. However, these errors are too light to cast with a casting or spinning Rod. However, the fisherman who wants to face such use can easily make errors that are sufficiently serious heavy to cast.

These lures (I will call "spin mistakes" to separate them from regular plastic cork or "serious errors") must weigh at least 1 / 4 oz. or a little longer to shoot well. They are usually bulky, with fur or feathers that hold them back in the cast.

Spin failures or errors serious are usually to resemble some kind of insect or bug that has fallen into the water. These are generally large insects such as dragonflies, butterflies, moths, beetles and grasshoppers. Insects like floating and spinning on the surface of the water, so spin bugs which do the same are the best fish-getters. However, some of These lures are also resemble small fish, small fish or frogs.

The simplest type of spin can make mistakes is a mistake to small burst. The errors of the roll is much smaller, shorter and have fewer hooks. And they have hair or feathers added to imitate the legs or the wings of an insect or insects.

The spin burst error can be made of soft, light wood such as cedar or basswood. It should be about 11 / 2 inches long and 7 / 8 inches in diameter. Then immerse the butt of the wings clear cement and inserted into the holes. You can also force a drop or two cement in the holes with a stick or a brush. When the cement dries Bucktail wing will be held securely in place.

Finish the package with more turns. Add another pinch of Bucktail next to the first and the wind a thread around it. Keep doing this until the shank of the hook is completely covered. Bind to an whip finish or a series of problems between. Then coat the thread of adjustment with the fly tying cement or with one of the clear, quick-drying cement coming in tubes.

With one of these errors back at the end of the line should enjoy a growing success.
