A couple of questions Flyfishing.?

What kind of tippet and the fly should I use for saltwater species and / or freshwater in the area Clearwater Dunedin. And if you know of any good places to buy most of my flight crew. As you can tell I'm new to fly fishing. I am receiving all the information I can from Smart (ER), people like you experienced fly people fishing. Thanks so much! And have a great day / evening / noche.-Fishingidiot-Fairly I wonder what use to catch the species. (In the area I told you) (the tippets, fly the colors, etc.) You can also send an email with further responses. As additional advice. (not related to the Q or similar) because as I said I'm trying to get as much information as possible. Thanks so much! "Fishingidiot-Fishing4idiots @ gmail.com

Fishingidiot-I responded to some of what has already asked in your question! Go check it out! Saltwater "You just can not beat a Clouser Minnow-color" White / Green, "" White "," White Red "for fly fishing saltwater. They are inexpensive, (compared to other saltwater flies!) And do not feel terrible when something breaks! (Lol) Pencil Poppers are excellent "search-Flys" Specifications for trout, Spanish Mack, Jacks, and redfish occasional flounder. I make my own Tippets / Leaders of 2-3 different sizes flurocarbon. Take 14 lb, 12LB, 10lb and cut into 2 1/2-3 lenghth Ft Uniting with ER IN THE PAST. Presto! You have a nice on shore saltwater tippet. This method is inexpensive, (compared to buying a cape every 3 fishing trips). You can tie-up to 3 or 4 before your fishing trip and keep them available. Most emergency sites in Cleawater / Tampa area is going to "Gouge" you very well in the fly-tackle. If your aware of the money you will either buy on-line or through a catalog. A good cheap saltwater reel and the rod would be a rookie Redington, Cabelas, Sage Discovery Series, 8-9 by weight and the scientific system fisherman 2, Ross Reels, Etc. I would not spend more than $ 125 in my rod and reel in my $ 120. You may not like fly fishing and spending would be more foolish. Just make sure that your bar has an aluminum spool and reel safety is aluminum with a "drag" OK "-system. The Reds DO powerful pull hard! (Lol) I do not want to be" tail "for buying the gear light weight! I hope this helps ya? Good luck!

fly fishing equipment
How much should I spend on the top fly fishing equipment?

I am a girl of 17 years and want to learn to fly fish. How much should spend on the computer (a pole, chain drives, flies, etc.) would be better to buy one of those cheap kits that come complete with everything you need to start?

The best answer I know, and you probably already achieved, is to buy the best you can afford and buy from someone who knows what they're selling and can provide properly matched one pole and line and a decent reel. If you try to go cheap you can get a package that makes learning to issue a royal pain soon will be destroyed his desire to learn this wonderful sport. You also need to think a little about what types of fish they plan to follow. A good quality rod 5 with a floating weight, weight forward line is a good start. Fly fishing is like any hobby – you can spend a fortune on gadgets. Again, you should think about forming a relationship confidence with someone who knows the team. I became a lifelong fan of a company, which deterred me from buying things they really did not need. OK, now to answer to your question: for the rod, reel and line it takes about $ 150. Cabelas (I am a true fan, because everything I purchased is excellent and Michael, the manager of the fly shop, I feel very well informed.) or Bass Pro both have decent oufits within that range. Try to avoid being absorbed in the purchase of the orange line that comes with some the towers. Most decent bars come with a rod average and you should get a cane tube as soon as possible. I make mine from PVC pipe with foam taken from the top and bottom. This case is heavy, but it floats and is damn near indestructible. Reeds are fragile, so you never travel without rod medium and in one case. A scratch can weaken the bar enough that it will break some day – no doubt, when you least want. OK, so now you have the rod, reel and line, what now. Get a clamp-like device such as those conducted by Dr. Slick with finger holes of large size. Then have to think about leaders and tippets. Since you're just starting out you can buy a few leaders tapered between 2X and 5X tippet and a few spools of monofilament in the same sizes. Finally, buy an assortment of errors occur and a plastic box with divided compartments. These things add about $ 50 to your investment. Unless someone is going to take a trip to an exotic fish, stop here and learn to use these things before buying a vest and other things. Also, invest in a good book, such as Fly Fishing for Dummies is excellent so do not be intimidated by the title. At this point, you need to learn about tippets and hook sizes and how all this relates. If you can find a good casting instructor take a couple of lessons – you will save a lot of frustration. If you can find a Federation of Fly Fishers (FFF) instructor from melting, it's worth every penny. It's a bit like learning to drive, do not let a friend teach you. There is a club here in St. Louis, called the Ozark Fly Fishers (do a Google search and find your website) and can help a lot, but you have to ask for help. There are arrogant or whatever, you just assume people know how to take unless they speak. Several of his instructors are certified FFF and I have taken lessons from them on several occasions. It's amazing what the placement of the hand or how to turn your wrist can affect the players and that is exactly what makes the experience so valuable. One of the most easy to do, and one that is fun, is to go to Busch Wildlife and rent a rowboat which costs about $ 5.30 for the day. Go in the afternoon, at least summer, and plan to get into the water about 5:00 or so. Until the sun starts to drop, most fish are too deep to easily with a fly rod. Find a shady spot, with some deep water nearby and play with burst errors. You'll catch lots of panfish and learn from smelting and accuracy while having fun. Resist the temptation to fish for trout right off the bat. They are a pain in the tail and can swing the water throughout the day and catch nothing. One The latter, crush the barbs on the hooks. This way you can release the fish without harming it, and when surprised, the hook comes out easier. The absence of the recently reed difference in landing the fish. Wear a hat to deflect broadbrimmed flies that seem to want to nest on his head and a kind of glasses that cover their eyes very well, for the same reason. Neat simple answer to your question. One of the wonderful things about this sport is that, in general, people are happy to help others to be so fascinated by the sport they are. That's my goal for you. Have fun, and stop fishing for a time when frustrated. Casting takes time to learn, but worth much time to learn properly in the beginning. Good luck.
