How much should I spend on the top fly fishing equipment?

I am a girl of 17 years and want to learn to fly fish. How much should spend on the computer (a pole, chain drives, flies, etc.) would be better to buy one of those cheap kits that come complete with everything you need to start?

The best answer I know, and you probably already achieved, is to buy the best you can afford and buy from someone who knows what they're selling and can provide properly matched one pole and line and a decent reel.
