Can I take a small knife to China?
I turn to China (PRC) in a few weeks to teach English for a year or more. During my spare time, I intend to fly fishing in Mongolia, if possible. In any case, my question is .. Can I bring my Leatherman and a small knife fixed blade (3.5in blade) to China? I'm not sure whether to take these items in China is legal, and I do not want to take those points unless you know the legality of flights to China with a knife in my checked baggage. I know that Chinese customs have the ability to be the ass for nothing, but I have seen very little in the customs rules on a small, non-military and non-combat knife. Thank you.
I think we will be able to get away with it. I was in a temple once was an old war hero type of person. He had a knife with a blade of 12 inches. The only concern then was that I did not want to enter the temple with her, plus you can also buy knives with blades designed much larger. To be honest you can try calling the embassy of China and calling like others, but said the baggage is not no, but the baggage charge is not bad. And then you get here only take it with your gear.

the best float tube fly fishing in the southern plains of the Texas Panhandle … .. rivers, lakes, etc. ..?
Thanks in advance if you can help w / to loocation or two
The airflow links always provide some good fishing, however, they are in Central or East Texas and South, far from where you mentioned. The biggest problem for float tube fishing in the Texas Panhandle and South Plains is the ever present mesquite tree (or shrub). They are at or near each channel in these regions. If you want some great bass fishing TX, just head over to Lake Alan Henry. It has everything you are looking for and is considered the next fork lake (some say it's better, I'm not so sure about that). The lack of good boundaries of the rivers that flow their options considerably in the areas you mention. May I suggest that you invest in a Jon boat or canoe?
