I need help determining what flies to use on my fly fishing trip.?

Im gonna fly fishing in one of the best fly fishing rivers in Long Island. Im not really sure what type of flies to use at this time of year. If anyone has any idea about a type of fly to use please help …

dry flies we like best … probably use a shopping cart of most … or sometimes a grasshopper … as what others have said they will take some time to reach the water and look for errors … errors even better fish to the surface and eat some of them … times when the fish goes into a hole for a while and get nothing … then we will sit there for 10 minutes, just observing … then we will tie into what we believe we are getting … crawling on our belly, and started meeting if we have too much to stay hidden … that we take just upstream from where are coming … likes to slap the water a little with our march, when the land … and let the current drifft … BAM is usually the case …
