How to find the best fishing methods (where, when and how to fish)?
Hello I basically want to learn more about fishing … I live in Ireland in County Meath and I'm only 15 will be unable to travel long distances to fish! .. I have a bar (10 feet 9 inches), reel, hooks, floats, weights, spinners, and so on … I fish in the local river (black water that has lots of bass and trout and also has pike, tench, hybrids, eels, bream and roach in places) … I also fish in lakes stocked and dont fly fish (but would love learn )…. i fish with worms, swetcorn maggets … and want to know how to fish with pen and things like that … I also want to learn more about the platforms and all things tha … I want a very informative website for begginners and also as a response from someone who has experience and is used for fishing in a climate like Ireland Answers stupid … NO ….
A 10 `9 “ freshwater rod, a bit like Overkill, that is too heavy for your lures and bait you` ll be using. A long bar which is generally used for saltwater fishing for navigation can throw over the waves. However, one of the best things I did when I started fishing when a kid was to keep a logbook. Just use a simple notebook and record the air temperature water temperature, cloud cover, rain / wind etc, time of day, month and day year, where they fished, the structure of rocks / driftwood / Lilly pads / drop offs / etc, baits / lures you are using, your style and colors, and then what you caught, if anything. Even after a year are starting to show trends and patterns that pique the they like and do not like. As you would with any lake, stream or do not feel like thinking like fish bait. Match the colors of bait in the lake is thats BC what they are eating. If you see a bunch of worms or after a rain to go fishing, as they use the worms are carried into lakes, If you see nymphs or larvae use. If you see bait use a lure that matches your size or color.
