1) You must choose the appropriate fishing flies that are used to make the kind of fish you are attempting to exploit. The basic rule in choosing the type of fly is to know which is abundant in the real environment.

2) Once you have determined which fly to use, you should be capable of choosing the correct line to use. The three commonly used tackles are fly-fishing, plug casting and spinning. The difference between the three is that spinning and plug-casting makes use of bait as weight to drag the line of his spiel to the point of destination for their catch.

3) Fly lines are of four different types – weight forward, double cone, shooting, sailing and the level of knowledge. Within the four different types are many variations. However, once you have decided what type of fishing that wish to conduct and what kind of fish you want to capture, you will use only a particular fishing line.
