My wife enjoys the outdoors, but it can only be set with sand and earth for a few days. After grinding (in the RV:), you need a good hotel and a little luxury. Red Rock Canyon is a beautiful desert state park that you can not lose. It is only half hour away and is beautiful, with many types of excursions and hiking trails. It has a nice visitors center surrounded by hills and canyons desert beautiful for walking and exploring.

Most people know about the Hoover Dam and Lake Mead, but are unaware of the many camps and marinas in the area. It's called the Lake Mead National Recreation Area, and the huge lake offers a lot of things to do and places to visit. The Mojave Desert, Great Basin and deserts Sonora meet in this area and this approach is like the day or night meets the desert meets the forest. This side of things is what makes great beauty and great photography.

There are all kinds of great tours for all. They have a variety of helicopter, plane and bus tours to the Grand Canyon and rafting on the Colorado River. A luxury tour van and even a tour of the Grand Canyon in a Hummer. There is the Grand Canyon Helicopter Tour and Ranch Adventure Helicopter Tour that lands on a working ranch in the canyon and they serve you a great lunch there.

Horse riding in cowboy country can include lunch on the road or BBQ at the finish. The tour people even drive there and pick the perfect horse for you, no experience necessary. There's nothing like a dinner over an open fire. After of this writing, I must go because it's too funny. Be sure to look for the gift packs in your hotel room for discounts and travel guides.

If you have the time and do not mind the drive and all kinds of adventures are open to you. Within three hours, the unit is Zion National Park and have everything including hotels. If you are an artist or photographer, then he must go.

If Zion is a bit too far, now try the Southern California called "The River". What it means is the Colorado River at Lake Mohave. Lake Mohave Resort at Katherine Landing Lake Mohave is located within the Lake Mead National Recreation Area, and offers recreational activities throughout the year for Nevada, Arizona and southern California.
