We have received many questions asking me about fishing for bass in Texas, and no wonder why the state is popular for fishing with more than 6000 deposits and almost 5000 square miles of inland waters.

Before you head for a fishing adventure of Texas, first we need to cover a couple of things, such as pests you may encounter. The Black widow and brown recluse spiders are known to frequent Texas, along with scorpions, centipedes, fire ants, and a plethora flight, insect bites. In addition, copperheads, rattlesnakes and the coral Texas Snake everyone can live near where you go, so be prepared to arm themselves with knowledge on how to treat and how to treat it. A first aid kit along with some special items for the area you are traveling is never a bad thing to bring along, especially if you take children with you.

Now, do not let a friendly warning advice to turn your head from Texas, as dangerous and painful pests can and do reside all over the place elsewhere, too. The best fishing in Texas is the selection, and here are some places to begin search:

Caddo used to be a natural lake that was a bit of expansion in the construction of a dam on Cypress Creek. Caddo is a great beginner area low loads to catch all day and the year, but only if the size does not matter much to you. More than 6 pounds is pushing expectations here, but the scenery is beautiful and the rewards are plentiful. Check the trees in Cyprus in Caddo find some great hiding spots.

Lake Fork is an excellent place to find catch records. Beautiful, spacious, and plenty of hidden spots, this lake is definitely where his, but the fish here are wise and require a large amount of tricks to be captured. My advice here is to sneak out at night without the capture engine and when the guard is down.

Lake Sam Rayburn, with his cave full of treasures hiding places and structures, has been an area of winning in Texas, and shows no signs of losing in the near future. A vast scenic area close enough to civilization The combination of a fishing trip in the family with a little city life, this lake has what has to get its large number of excellent appearance and great taste almost under all the year, although I suggest during the week, when things are slow.

Toledo Bend is nearly as good as it gets to cover, even rivaling the Lake Sam Rayburn in size and structure. Another beautiful area, this deposit is partly in Louisiana and is fed by numerous streams, and the Sabine River. The best place in the spring is on the other side of the Sabine River where it flows into the reservoir, particularly the large muddy areas at the side of the river, but beware of the current.

The mouth of the Rio Grande out in friendship, which can be a great place for low experienced fisherman, but beginners need not leaving the area or just go with an experienced guide. Not only is this area just a place fertile Topwater powerful if you know what to look for, but can be dangerous with the winds who frequent the area during much of the year. Even an experienced sailor on a boat small enough you can earn points here!

And that's just a drop in the bucket of what Texas has to offer.

chile fly in fishing

Already in 1953, May 7, Lou Brown is aboard his boat, "Flying Heart" off the coast of Chile. They were fishing for swordfish. The ship's captain was Eddie Wall, who had done a lot of fishing for swordfish.

He saw a giant swordfish, and launched the line of the nose through it, the fish turned. They went and tried again, this time the fish for bait. Lou was strapped in the chair waiting, the line moved slowly, and then began to accelerate. Lou has the fish to the boat a total of twelve times, each time the fish went away, after the thirteenth time Lou reached out and took the leader, the Fish beat, got the harpoon in him and got out on board.

Back at the dock, the monster fish weighed in at 1182 pounds, is the largest fish it was caught that day. Many say that this record will never be broken.

The first fish ever caught weighing over 1000 pounds was captured in 1930 by Zane Gray off the coast of Tahiti. However, the IGFA does not allow the fish and the sharks got a hold of it on the way to the boat. It was another 22 years before another fish weighing in at over £ 1000 was recaptured.

The current record for a deal with all the catches taken in a line of evidence is 130 pounds one Blue Marlin weighing 1,376 pounds. But most striking is the Marlin caught by Kelley Everett off the coast of Hawaii. He used to jump tuna bait. It weighed 1103 pounds, it is surprising that he caught a 30-pound test line!

It took an hour and a half to bring the fish in without pause and without rest! The sailors set three crabs and fish dragged through the transom door, then race to the bank was underway. At that time, the index stood at 626 pounds, and that's what the balance is set for, for 826 pounds to restart it again turned up the beam, restoring again and again until Finally the fish was weighed at 1103 1 / 2 pounds.

The most interesting record will probably never be broken. A tiger shark caught off a pier in Carolinas.

It weighed 1.780 pounds, after losing an estimated 10% of their body weight! Experts say that had they been able to weigh that when he was captured have weighed over a ton! Not a bad day of fishing off the pier! The Carolinas and do not allow shark fishing on the pier, it is not "good for tourism. "That's why this record, will probably remain forever.

fly fishing in chile
We just returned from the Fiery Foods Show, held again in Albuquerque, New Mexico and had a lot of people asking for more Chile pepper has to offer. I smiled, not his extreme passion for Scoville units, but because they can be supplied with nothing hotter than our Coyote Trail Green Chile Sauce. Of course, Sauce Chile Verde has some heat, but nothing like what these guys were looking for. I thought again of our output of a sound business plan-the time were also for the heat.

We embarked on the path to the heat of anger. We could also create the world's hottest sauce? Habanero flooded my desk. The kitchen test had the cloud Chile mature enough to cause sneezing and coughing through cloth masks. People wanted the heat and by golly we were going to give them. Perhaps it would be like my friend, Dave Hirschkop, creator of the insanity of Dave Willow, who is rumored to have been banned after the Fiery Food Show because of his sauces were so deadly hot.

We were on the road and my stomach was the conversion of intestinal cells in a mother would be proud, Chile pepper cast vault iron. I tried a dozen ways. Chipotle, raspberry habanero sauce. And then there was a peach Zinger with enough firepower to launch a missile. Roy, our analyst product was especially proud of a tomatillo and spread Jolokia Chile, which was supposed to gently spread on toast. The bite of the morning, like fishing I guess.

With all the options, two stood out, but still I was restless. Not just my stomach, but my instinct. The market is full of hot sauces with appropriate names referring to body parts and functions. Where do we fit?

When I started in New Mexico, Chile Company, I wanted to provide gourmet cooking sauces and our tag line was immediately established-Coyote Trail Sauces Gourmet taken every day. I was adamant about the fact that each had to marry with the sauce well with food and wine. If the sauce was too hot or overpowering food not met. Now, here I branch in the hot sauce business. Very soon, I have to have a small job done the deadline is approaching.

I reached my decision a day, whereas properly fly to California and I was reading Herb Kelleher story describing how he had begun to Southwest Airlines. The book is titled Nuts and in this business classic tells the story of maintaining the road to success.

Despite the distractions, put on blinders and ventured companies with a written plan in stone. Southwest, he wrote, did not fly international because it was what they did well. His company was a short restoration of companies to people business. The five hundred mile journey is their expertise. And for years, the meetings of the board, he fought the desire to expand and conquer airwaves beyond of what they did well.

It seems that other companies did not agree and once consolidated its local position, which opened international routes. If they could fly around California, surely you could set their wings toward Europe. Many tried and most filed bankruptcy and they all lost money.

This struck me deep and about that time, the stewardess passed by, inquired about beverages and dropped two packages of roasted nuts in my tray.

I decided then that the morning bite was not for us. We stay the course of prosperity, see the heads Chile delve into the madness that concentration levels capsicum will deliver. Dave can relax. I kicked myself in society, the heads of Chile.

We will continue to make the best enchilada sauce the world and who really understand the world is a better place thanks to our Green Chile Sauce. It may not be the morning bite, but Santa Fe Chicken is a staple in many of our customers and that is enough for me.
