Alaska vacation?

no one was in Alaska for a winter holiday? Where you stay and any tips? i dont know you can go to Canada or Alaska? we want a nice cozy cabin as a getaway to picturesque. wheres the best place for the Aurora? my BF and I just want to go somewhere beautiful and comfortable? he likes to go fly fishing or maybe chill out and go snowboarding ….. its all in the air about what we do. Anyone want to lend me their experiences and advice? I have a bit of nightlife too …. somewhere at a decent distance to the city to be great?

I have spent the winter in Alaska, but I came in the snow, last year. We left Florida in early April, came to Alaska in mid May and believe it or not, we go through a storm snow. If, Talkeetna, is open throughout the winter this would be a wonderful place. Talkeetna is a small town about 100 miles south of Denali National Park. Princess Cruise Lines trains run there. They even have a hotel in the city for its guests. If your hotel does not accept customers outside, an old rustic hotel that romantic getaway. Princess also has a large lounge outside the entrance to Denali. In the heavy snow of winter, these sites may be too much. Try www.alaska.com/plan/visitors_guide/ for rent. If what you want is not here, Subscribe to e-mails from around the world on this site and all links. My wife and I made when planning our trip to Alaska. Lower your e-mail lists are a breeze. Fishing, at least, fly fishing is best in spring and summer, when the salmon are running. If you insist on going during the winter should remain in the coastal cities like Anchorage and Juneau. These two cities are in areas completely different, Juneau be accessible only by plane or boat. I have been told by locals that the roads are best driven in the winter. The snow is full of hard and no frost arcades which are always present when the snow melts. We spent 5 months in Alaska and the wonderful return plan. We traveled in our motor home parked where we wanted and really enjoyed it. We use very few places to camp, only when we had to wash clothes. There are many rest stops so that in the boonies, with wonderful views, you parked there.
