Is it possible to fly fish with bulging eyes? I also would like to start fly fishing for smallmouth bass, the northern pike and, where possible, walleye.Could someone say some of the best flies for them? thanks.

As said Kevin B, fly fishing is bug-eyed very hard. Smallmouth and Pike can take a fly rod. If you only have one suit, I would suggest a rod of 7 or 8 weight floating weight forward, and a reel with a good drag that has much support. As for the leaders, I say small mouth, a 9 'leader tapered to 3x would be enough for pike I use a 7 1 / 2 "leader conical to 0x, which should be enough for the teeth. Neither the fish line is really shy. Flies: fish for small mouth Clouser tried and true – to try different colors to find what they like. Brown and black wool nose are also effective. If fishing in the river, the goal of fast moving water with lots of rocks / stones / strucutre as smallmouth feed on an ambush. Surface poppers can be very effective too. For Pike: bigger is better. Large colored streamers, Clouser minnows, large and woolly boogers Zonkers must have fish. Try to cast the fly near the weedline and recover in a short, violent gangs. Tight Lines
