Fly fishing is not necessary to have a special bar?
I ask because I'm getting a Shakespeare 8 'rod Walmart and wondered if need any special type or fishing rod. Also what is a good brand name for a fly fishing bait.
Well with a fly rod definitely helps lol, normally I do not have the same bar eyelets and do not handle the heavier the line. Want to determine the size of your pole and the force with the fish they are pursuing. The most important thing is that you need to get a feel for the type of rod that I want to try some others out, and it seems you are new to this sport. As for the flies go to a baitshop and ask what has been hatching and to show you the ropes, if you think choosing a pole can not wait until you start to learn about all the different flies and hatches.
