fishing so I have been to fly for about 2 years but I am still not very successful Need help?

I just can pitch well I'm sure my problem is with the selection of fly i do not know when to use a dry or wet a streamer or nymph I'm pretty clueless when it comes to this part of fly fishing so will someone please put me straight through ..
