provo fly fishing

Providenciales Island is known to all as Provo, and is less than ninety minute flight from Miami, and is part of the Turks and Caicos, as only a small jump of the International Airport, but has its own direct flights from the U.S. .. It has a temperature near perfect for a holiday destination to be around 83 degrees Fahrenheit on average, with about 35 inches of rain per year. The hottest months are September and October, but the constant easterly trade winds make the heat in this time of year, which may rise to 95 degrees F and keep things reasonably well.

The Turks and Caicos islands are located in Eastern Standard Time, and are about nine hours flying time from London and is a world very different from many other Caribbean islands.

It is worth hiring a car if you're going to Providenciales, and also ensure you get a map to date. You can pick a map up in the Tourist Information Booth on the left of the arrival of baggage. A car, even a small one will allow you to reach many of the beaches and restaurants of the island, and have control of when you want to go, and when they want to leave.
Note that car hire is not cheap, but it will be worth every dollar.

Also wish to take with you some diving equipment, because the underwater vistas in Providenciales are excellent, and would be less sensitive not to take the time to swim among marine life.

You'll easily find two locations on the map that are good coral gardens and reefs Smith.
The coral gardens are easily found on the map, just off Lower Bight stretch of Penn.
Park in front of the station and walk down. The reef is protected and cordoned off with buoys, but go around the buoys and you will see a large number of fish, and perhaps a reef shark but undoubtedly the turtles parrot fish, and very often to swim.

The water is deeper in Smith's Reef and is much more difficult to reach. Drive towards Turtle Cove and follwed the road Sharkbite Resort and Yacht Club Restaurant [It's worth a visit]. Go left at the intersection and after parking, walk to the marina until you see the pile of rock. Swim to the second and larger reef and watch the boats, which may spoil Reef Smith ..

The true beauty of his own car, of course, is the independence it gives you, and you should visit the beautiful beach in the bay outside Sapadillo Chalk Sound Road. It's worth the drive right down the road just to see the big houses and the amazing views.

Take the car to the southwestern tip of the island of Providenciales .. Here is a very isolated and empty, but beautiful beach. It takes a little finding, just head to the Blue Hills, and continues down the road, passing through Da Shell Shack, then pass a school in right until you reach a main road to the left. By this time it is praising the new map you bought at the airport! Stay on this new path to the end, and you can not see three tracks. With a decent car that can take the left hand, and this leads to the beach. If you walk along the beach around the corner until you reach a cave to explore and pass a rock completely covered with pelicans.

There are many more things to see and do in Providenciales Island, excellent hotels, especially in Grace Bay, and many believe that this part of the Turks and Caicos is the Caribbean as good as it gets.
