We have always been imprisoned by illusions and doubts, between the dream of flying and earthly desires. These uncertainties and obstacles that have brought progress towards vague horizons, forgetting the real aim a reasonable mind, has been searching for centuries: the chance to fly to the stars, sky morality that surrounds our existence. This infinire pursues Riabow can not avoid using numbers, the myth of Icarus and colors which remember medieval and ancient paintings.
I'm not talking about metaphors, but a symbol that immediately comes out of his paintings. I think a series of still images, a kaleidoscope difference between colors, such as sudden insights from the roof of sky, a sort of return, but perhaps it is our unconscious, which organizes the images in this way.
There, I think, two main threads in the creation of Oleg: estrangement which also means go further, and point of view without relativism. The observer (but do we really know who he is?) Is located in a position that seems to leave the representation shown in the picture: it is our mind that imagines a fishing boat in our daily plate, it is our seeing eye glasses or other mythical figures, Oleg, setting aside and suspending natural connection between subject and object, gives your fish, butterflies and landscapes full of color, point of view that belongs to the observers (numbers. ..), that our private research and mental health. A number is always a symbol of something that has been thought, in our mind is a fact, an act, together with their perceptions. We are in a world that is covered by something else, we are past the illusion and hope. A world in which ¬ canlive not our views, taking them from a spectator unidentified, perhaps an angel flying with wings outstretched, trying to decipher the codes of life, in the space of a moment vanished. Men and worlds in the paintings by Oleg appear, without real prospects. A point of view without relativism, however, an observation that reflects ¬ not already received. Our actions are always situated knowledge ¬ na or higher level which is the reason for the removal of two different levels of the real world, too, the first is the image the world as seen by the right human, and the second are the numbers and colors in flames evoke ¬ ONLY reason and mind, impressed and printed in the organs of self-representation wings (even Icarus' butterfly zymology remember a final).
Who is the observer now? Maybe Novus AngelM Klee, taken by Walter Benjamin in his essay on the philosophy of history. If we accept this we can say that the creation of Oleg is quite metaphysical: the angel of view on a world made of illusion and uncertainty.
