Hey ladies, do not have to be a "Tom boy" who likes to fish. I am certainly not the typical fishing person and I'm not shy to show that either. I'm a blonde, blue-eyed "Girly Girl" in the heart that truly loves the sport of fishing. I am who I am and I like what I like.

Last week more than heard mentioning that some local salmon runs. The salmon are running … and I said to myself, boy, I probably love the experience of catching large fish. So, decided to take action and plan a fishing trip on the Muskegon River, located in western Michigan, with the fisherman local, Jim Churchill, of Riverside Outfitters LLC.

When my day of fishing finally arrived, I was so excited, so excited he could hardly stand it! I was like a kid in a candy store. I prepared and went to meet Jim at the designated launch. Once I arrived, I got out of my vehicle and proceeded toward him. Jim stopped and looked at me surprised and asked me if I was planning on fishing in high heels. I laughed and said "You bet, these are my high heels lucky. "He said he thought he had seen everything until that day. Therefore, he invited me aboard his ship. Jim started the engine and went down the river in search of salmon. We traveled for a while, and then proceeded to slow down and stop and anchor. Eager to fish, then Jim I equipped with all equipment available and explained exactly what he had to do to catch a salmon.

Therefore, foundry, once two times, three times and four times and then … wham! Suddenly I realized that I only caught a fish! Jim was instructing me every step of the way to polo, polo down on the reel, let the drift "etc … It was so exciting that my heart was racing from the excitement and challenge of getting the big fish in the boat without losing 30 pounds … power line test is conducted for large … Finally, after 10-15 minutes, salmon and got tired and compensated in the boat. We both truly amazed at the size. Not only fish but a huge 18 pounds of salmon male. I said that my catch was attributed to the fate of my shoes high heels and my natural casting ability and he laughed and said, "You amaze me … it very well could be."

Jim gave me my prize of 18 pounds and I taught how to handle correctly. I struck a pose and held the fish while taking a picture. Boy, was a great day and an awesome experience that I'll never forget, like a first kiss.

Then I realized I should share this story with others so they can be inspired to take action and create their life experiences or ignore them before they do.

Taking "time out" for fishing can be a great way offset some of the many challenges and stresses that women seem to be facing today. Sometimes only some are far from where the fast pace of life — if only for a few hours – may provide a new perspective and a new perspective.

Fishing as a hobby is growing with women and that's why the estimated number of women who acquire fishing licenses each year is more than 12 million

So ladies, I encourage you to support their fishing guides premises and take time out for you and book your own fishing guide, leaving the pole, put on your heels so high, the passage on the boat to see what can do. Above all have fun and good luck!

Can not wait to go fishing again.
