Planning goTrout Fisheries Norteast Iowa?
Hello, a group of my friends figured he would try to fish for trout in northeast Iowa The problem is none of us have no idea how to fish for trout .. So I was wondering a few things, let's go to the last wknd in June, I wondered what are the best rivers to fish around and then in NE Iowa? … Im not really in search of big fish, more than one batch of fish. Besides, what I to wear, what to do, Waiders?, were going to be alone with ultralight rods fly fishing not .. , Just some help on what to use for live bait where fish, what to look into the current to find fish .. Only mostly any help someone who has no idea how to fish for trout, it would be useful THANKS!
The type of bait to use is live shrimp. When using live shrimp, no fish in the background. The trout are not bottom feeders. So do not use heavyweights, however, use floating devices (I do not know the exact term) that you pop from time to time so that the trout know you're there. Hope this helps. Good luck and hope you catch tons of trout! – MA
