Seeking suggestions for a fly fishing trip?

My 40th birthday is approaching (quickly) and has given me the opportunity to travel to anywhere in the U.S. continental shelf for a 2 week trip fly fishing or this fall or next spring. I am open to suggestions here. My Travel Ideally, one in which they could hire a guide for a day or two after fish on my own. Anyone had good trips to recommend?

depending on what type of fishing you want to no how many places in the west of that name was all that fit and a great experience. As noted the area Yellowstone is a great option. But there are areas very good, less known but equally good throughout the U.S. West. Fall is a good time to fish in the west, the Spring means that you could achieve the flow conditions but either way there will be decent fishing to be had. I've lived in both Colorado and Idaho, and could easily fill your itinerary with great spots in both states.
