Fishing in Runescape is quite fun and easy. To start fishing, it takes some fishing equipment. You get a network of Tutorial Island, but if you want to use something else, you can always buy equipment from fishing stores. My favorites are in Port Sarim and Catherby. If you want to fish certain things, then you need to fish in specific areas. Any area with water causing a fishing spot. However, before I get to that, let me explain what the fishing gear and what it is used for the catch.
Net: It is used to catch shrimp, anchovies, Karambwanji, Giant Frogspawn, and monkfish
Fishing rod and bait: Used to catch sardines, herring, Pike, Slimey Eel, and the cave of the eel
Big Red: Used to catch mackerel, cod, and Bass (This can take objects as well, and I will explain that in shortly.)
Fly-Fishing Rod & Feathers: Used to catch trout and salmon
Harpoon: Used to catch tuna, swordfish, and Shark
Lobster Cage: Used to capture lobsters
Oily fishing rod and bait: Used for catching Lava Eel
Karambwan ship: Used to catch Karambwan
Things you can take your Big Net that fish not include:
– Boots and Gloves
– Algae
– Oyster Shell
– Casket
Many times they are just useless things that is dropped, but sometimes you get something worthwhile.
As you advance in fishing levels, you will be able to catch a wide range of variety of fish.

Fishing can be very profitable if you want to be. Many times the sale of raw fish can be more profitable than cooked. For those who want haute cuisine levels, that are buying mass quantities of raw fish and keep cooking until they get the level they want, which is usually 99. Some people, however, going to buy cooked fish so that they can train. Although prices are a little lower, if you can not sell oil, then it's worth. Prices reside only in the you are selling. For a warrior, who will buy the lowest price that can at any time. A lot of times, the warriors to buy tuna. Cura is a fair and can get fairly cheap mass quantities. Those who want to cook the fish, she spent more and get the best fish you can cook.
Now that you know everything need, go out there and fish! Not see him standing beside a river by asking "To fish or not to fish?
