Am I making a big mistake purchasing this surfboard?
Funboard used to have a 6'8 NSP and I wanted something shorter. So vi Mark Richards new Flying Fish Surfboard for sale for $ 460 with fins. But I am afraid to buy it. Richards sets a good shaper and is this a good table? This was in a surf shop and the entire store is having a sale and their surfboards
To begin, Mark Richards Flying Flying Fish is a decent surfboard. He has a reputation as a surfer and shaper of quality, if you are in Australia, you should be more familiar with it than I am in the U.S.. Second, some very smart people here have said they will talk to the guys at the shop. Discuss your skill level (honestly) and your budget. We can judge the size and know with certainty that the local wave conditions. You can have a good discussion with them not only an answer to a question online. Do not even know if some people are responding here you can surf. Why not listen to intelligent people, and talk about it in the store. However, not every shop is perfect. Someone has sold you the NSP, Right? But if you tell them you are not interested in a popout, but I will not break the bank, which will help you find a table that is "fair." And like the surfboard man said, just because it's cheap, does not mean it's not good. Ask all kinds of questions on this site, better suited to people in the store. Believe me, and I know I've written a thousand time before, after 43 years of surfing, still ask my surfboard purchase in the store locally questions well in places where surf.
