The name El Pescador Resort is a bit of a gift for anyone with a notion of a foreign language. This of course is quite a fishing lodge for people who are looking for a fishing vacation on Ambergris Caye in Belize. Of course, it also faces the beach as a resort proper, and very good value for anyone who wants to participate in underwater activities such as snorkeling and diving.
The Resort El Pescador is very much in the style colonial, being white and beautiful with just twelve rooms and one suite, and a private collection one, two and three bedroom villas in the grounds, are in two groups, each around a private pool. It is not cheap it costs around USD 415 per night, but surely will value for money. It is on the east side of Ambergris Caye, with the beautiful turquoise sea of the Caribbean at your doorstep, and the barrier reef of Belize as a backdrop.
The Resort El Pescador is located in the Bay of Punta Arena on a private beach which is beautifully kept, is in a good position somewhat isolated and is therefore away from the hustle and bustle, but if you want to join then you have easy access to San Pedro for shopping and nightlife.
As a lodge El Pescador Fishing Resort has been well known for many years, and the fact of fishermen have been coming here for over 25 years. The best thing about this is the fact that supplies to all types of fisherman. This includes fly fishing, fly fishing, but the house specialty, as it is the view of casting the flats. All guides speak English and his ability is such that even if you are a novice who quickly teach him a level of competence.
