What is the best way to fish for trout in the river to North Georgia?

I've been fishing since I could walk (mostly salt water), but I've never been before fishing for trout in a mountain stream. From what I hear, trout fishing is very complicated and requires much skill and patience. I will fishing on the Toccoa River in northern Georgia. What kind of face should I use and what kind of bait? Decoys? Worms? Flies? How should I fish for them? What tactics should I use? I will use a light spinning rod and I have chest and waders. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!

I to Toccoa for the entire season with my husband. My husband grew up in that river. He uses queues and catch roosters left and right. Revolving light bar is the best by so do not worry about that. Does not take much. They are hooked! We hope helped have fun!
