Pond fishing problem?
Well, my uncle has a pond in 2006. The first time I have provided hybrid blue gill, gill blue redear, bass, 3 stripers, black crappie. I go fishing once in a while. I often go fishing in my river, but anyway. He has been feeding the fish with game fish feed. the first time he did you could catch a tonne of fish now seem to only get 6-inch baby bass biting and crappie occasinal. He said that when he feeds them all go to eat food. Are they so used to the food they bite artifucals custom and most of the time my turn by owls. I you have not tried fly fishing yet. I think it's a stick to 2 acres of the pond if that makes a difference. Can you tell me why the custom of fish bite? Since this can not help but my uncle said he has not seen a dead fish floating and put in 1 Amur grass
Huck can not just a bunch of fish in a pond little and expect to survive, much less play. If the conditions are not ideal pond (depth, temperature, pH, substrate, oxygen levels, algae, etc etc etc), the fish simply die. My guess is that the fish had a good year or so, a lot of fish caught, and now something is out of control, Most fish planted have died, and now there's good fish to be caught. It is not enough to have a large pool of water – must be healthy water and fish have to have their habitat. It may be that no suitable areas for all fish to spawn – If fish can not spawn, those that die or are eaten not be replaced. Perhaps there are areas spawning, but there is no coverage for children. Perhaps it is too hot or cold, or acidic, or perhaps of different species? Do you know how many fish are there? Most likely that will happen is the species that is the scrappiest or best suits the pond overcome and survive beyond all others so that there is nothing only small samples of a species. Without a large variety of forage, cover, habitat, depth, etc, can not support 10 different types of all fish that compete for the same foodbase. So there are laws and regulations on public waterways on their own – usually does not work properly. You can not simply collect a handful of fish caught in one place and dump them into a dirty little reservoir and some expect to reproduce like apes of the sea.
