Fly best proxy for brown trout?

What is the best proxy for fly fishing for brown trout stream in June in New York upstate? I am looking for two personal opinions and advice of facts. Also, if you have a way like flying fish … let me know.

Unfortunately, there is a fly specifically Brown trout are caught at any place or time. I wish there were. You have one key that the fish are eating at the time and place and imitate.
