The airflow links always provide some good fishing, however, they are in Central or East Texas and South, far from where you mentioned. The biggest problem for float tube fishing in the Texas Panhandle and South Plains is the ever present mesquite tree (or shrub). They are at or near each channel in these regions. If you want some great bass fishing TX, just head over to Lake Alan Henry. It has everything you are looking for and is considered the next fork lake (some say it's better, I'm not so sure about that). The lack of good boundaries of the rivers that flow their options considerably in the areas you mention. May I suggest that you invest in a Jon boat or canoe?
