Stillwater fly fishing can be very rewarding and enjoyable. Some fishermen believe it is necessary to have specialized equipment to fly fishing in lakes and lakes. While specialized arts can be helpful, is not always necessary to have long rods and heavier sinking lines. Fishing from shore or coast often get a fisherman in the fish feed, so even the boats are not always necessary.

When fly fishing for larger fish in the lakes, I too would prefer a bar heavier at least 10 1 / 2 feet long. These bars are also useful when casting in windy conditions.

When the fish do not bite into casting distance from the shore or bank, with some type of craft is of course an advantage. If you are on a budget but want to get away from the coast, consider inflatable float tube. They are easy to carry and can make Stillwater fly fishing very enjoyable!
