Of the various techniques of fly fishing, nymph fishing is probably the most difficult. Because fly fishing nymphs are very small, beginners and professionals alike to have some problems with this fishing technique. However, knowing how to use fly fishing nymphs is very important when trout fishing, such as trout feed mainly on insects beneath the water surface.
A nymph is basically an insect that has not fully developed. You will notice older people, insects and flies couples skim along the water's surface, while the nymphs are still living under water.
So why Why is fishing with nymphs fly fishing so difficult?
What is a fly fisherman is using fly fishing nymphs is trying to imitate the immature insects that live underwater yet. Therefore, it is difficult and almost impossible for the fisherman to see the fish will fly. But in the dry fly fishing, fly sits on surface water and the fisherman can easily see when a fish bites.
Another difficult aspect of fly fishing nymph fishing is the fact that the nymph, be under the surface of water, is likely to hit the rocks and trees, simulating a fish taking the hook. Also more likely to snag its nymph fly fishing on the rocks and trees.
In addition, using fly fishing nymphs become more of a three-dimensional game, instead of a game two dimensions in the dry fish. The fisherman should now have an accurate model, both front and rear, left and right, and be able to accurately predict the depth to which find the trout.
Finally, the trout are inclined to take a nymph more subtly than a fly on the surface. You can not beat is hard, and so Therefore it may be difficult for the fisherman to know when you have connected a trout.
As you can see from the above fishing, nymph fly fishing can be very difficult, and turns many people away from this technique. But now they have a better understanding of the difficulties of nymph fishing and practice the only problem we have is also catching many fish (is that even really a problem?).
When fishing nymphs fly fishing is used basically the same team as in the dry fish. The only additional items they would recommend are small weights (to help your nymph to sink a little better), the strike indicators (to say when you've hooked the trout!), and a good pair of sunglasses fly fishing (preferably polarized so that you could see through bright orange indicator to strike and glare on the water better).
There are many different methods of fishing with nymphs fly fishing, both art is the preference and style. In this article I will briefly discuss two different methods.
First is the basic method of using fly fishing nymphs. It is easiest for a beginner to use and is a great way to start.
In short, it will pull across the river and let current take your fly fishing nymphs slowly downstream until it is just below you down. At this point, the nymph is being washed away and emulate the swing of a real nymph. Not necessarily a strike indicator with this method because the line will be a little tighter, since it is being washed away, it will be much easier to feel a trout taking your flight.
So what's wrong with this beginner method? Well, a number of things, actually. First, the only point of this method is possible to draw any strike is the right to the point where the nymph begins to take off from the river bottom. This reduces considerably the scope of the effectiveness of this method of fishing, because the vast majority of the fleet of the nymph is "wasted" (trout is unlikely take a nymph that is careening at odd angles across a river).
The only disadvantage of this method is that the trout are much less likely to take a nymph fly fishing, as it is traveling across the river, while attached to a taut line.
The next technique I will discuss is the method dead drift. This method can be used in three ways: by the cantonment, to put in a position immediately preceding, or his boat.
By barracks, you can convert the same manner as dry while fishing. Cast upstream and across the river, allowing the nymph fly fishing the "dead drift" for maximum distance. Check out some line to draw the line is free.
You can do this immediately before casting, so or even your boat. Just be sure not to hold the line too tight, and it's not going to emulate a real nymph authenticity.
All in all, fly fishing nymph fishing can be very difficult but very rewarding, with persistence and practice. Passing some time to learn this technique, which will surely be able to maximize the amount of trout to catch and minimize the days when you go out and get nothing.
