Bass fishing is a sport that attracts thousands of athletes to the lake area every year. Canada, Mexico and the United States have different types of bass in the rivers, but most fishermen appreciate the famous Boca Grande Bass. This is one of the most wanted by the rewarding experience of catching one.

The low big mouth is an aggressive species and will bite almost any bait or lure, but there are a few types of fishing gear and handling methods that have come to the forefront in recent years. The original bass fishing was off a hook with a worm suspended below the surface by a float, or close to securing the bottom of a lead weight to the line a foot or two above the hook.

This configuration can be used with any live bait as small fish or Crawdads. Artificial worms have also been found to be very effective, especially when used in shallow streams or rivers, and configuration in a configuration called the Carolina platform. Crankbaits typically resemble bait or Crawdads and has many variations in size and color, and some even rattle to get the attention of nearby fish.

Spoons are another type of fishing bait used for bass fishing. A spoon is like a wheel without a attached template or grub, and it looks like a small fish as bait in the water.

One of the most commonly used types of fishing gear are Topwater lures. These are ideal for bass fishing, but also are excellent for fishing or freshwater fish of many species of saltwater fish. You can choose between poppers and Spinner Topwater baits lures her. Look out for the low, however. They like to strike hard Topwater lures, so you need to stay alert when dealing of capture.
