bag fishing fly gear

Here comes March! This is usually the time they finish my ice fishing. Time to think about getting ready for spring fishing. Do you need new line? Maybe you need a new pole or reel? The sales usually start during this month for all the gear you need. Maybe you'd like to find a new place. Choose a location not already tried and plan a weekend trip to check.

My brothers and friends and I use the winter months to plan another trip for spring. This year we will spend a few days to streams for the elusive trout. I found a pair, while in the woods for deer sign again. I can not wait to flip a fly on them and see what there is.

See you on the water!

It's time to clean the Tackle Box

Meanwhile, you can get cope with the old box and give it a good cleaning. The first thing to do is through away all the junk (old line and candy wrappers).

Now let to take seriously. What is your main goal this year? I use two computers to cope with a box for fishing boat and a shoulder bag for canoeing and fishing river. This allows me to carry a lighter load and remove the gear not needed.

It is also a good way to eliminate teams that do not really need. A pencil sharpener good hook is useful in most of the kit. Keep a hand at all times. It makes no sense to lose a fish to a hook boring.

The next thing you should look at the condition of their decoys. Are they grazed? Touch up paint or nail polish (ask your first wife or daughters) will do the trick. Brush sealant shortly after get into plastics, whether tubes or worms, be sure to take out any that have begun to join aa box. Definitely cause problems later.

I'm tired just writing about it. I think I'm going to take a break from beer! See you in the water.
